Jason Rhian departed a career in law enforcement to pursue his dream of bringing the story of space exploration to the world. He has interned twice with NASA, the first was in 2007 with Kennedy Space Center’s press site, in 2007 and the second was for NASA’s Exploration Mission Directorate in 2009. Shortly thereafter he spent countless hours volunteering for the space agency to better understand the dynamics involved with reporting on the space program. For Jason, this was just the beginning. In 2009, he began corresponding for several outlets, detailing the closing months of the shuttle program. He went on to provide content for MSNBC.com, Space.com, NASA Watch and SpaceRef, Universe Today and numerous others. Jason has now opted to focus his efforts on The Spaceflight Group community where he strives to provide the public with a unique venue, a window into space exploration efforts.
